As we continue to welcome visitors to the Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary we have an opportunity for a passionate and engaging Full time Retail Team Leader to join and support the Retail are seeking a customer focused & motivated individual with stand-out leadership skills to lead the Retail team.
We are seeking a motivated individual who holds commitment to meeting the needs of our valued customers & achieving the performance standards of our business. You will be required to ensure yourself & the Team deliver an amazing customer experience whilst driving to achieve sales targets through excellent product knowledge.
About the Role
This role will report to the Retail Supervisor and will be based within Retail and Photography. This role is responsible for customer service maximising sales cash control stock control coaching dispute resolution. The key to this role is participation and commitment to achieving departmental objectives within a Tourism environment. You will be an energetic positive team player who leads by example. You will be responsible for customer service maximising sales cash and stock control dispute resolution. visual merchandising and assisting with other leadership duties as required. This role will be from Sunday - Thursday.
About You
To be successful in this role you will have relevant experience in a Team Leader role. You will be a self-starter and have a willingness to learn all aspects of the role. You will be well presented and have a great knowledge and understanding of working within a Retail store. You will work confidently with your team and our guest. Other required skills and qualifications we are looking for include:
- You will have experience with leading by example and will ensure the delivery of efficient & friendly Guest service
- A can-do attitude with the ability to lead Team in setting & achieving workloads
- Enjoys striving to achieve targets while working towards department goals & objectives
- This is a fast-paced role where you will be required to work calmly under pressure
- A fun energetic and highlight motivated attitude and have excellent communication skills
- A high level of attention detail to maintain optimum outlet presentation
- Be prepared to work in an outdoor environment in all weathers in a role that requires substantial walking in a workplace that has native wildlife such as birds and reptiles
- Flexible and available to work across weekends school holidays and public holidays
