Position- Citrix VDI Support Engineer

Job Summary
Support the deployment maintenance and optimization of Citrix Virtual Apps & Desktops (VDI) to deliver a reliable high-performance user experience. Troubleshoot technical issues collaborate with IT teams across infrastructure and security and document standard operating procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Install configure and maintain Citrix VDI environments (Virtual Apps & Desktops/XenApp/XenDesktop)
- Daily health checks and performance monitoring (CPU memory session metrics) using Citrix Director/EdgeSight & third-party tools
- Troubleshoot Tier 2/3 issues for Citrix Windows Server Active Directory and virtualization platforms (VMware Hyper-V)
- Manage image lifecycle - create patch secure and deploy master VDI images across environments
- Implement security best practices (GPOs SSL VPN multi-factor authentication) and apply patches/updates
- Collaborate with networking storage security and application teams to integrate Citrix with broader IT systems
- Maintain documentation: system diagrams SOPs runbooks configuration changes and capacity plans
- Participate in disaster recovery planning and failover testing
- Provide after-hours support on a rotational basis as required
