We re looking for an ambitious and capable Junior Sous Chef to join the talented team at a renowned food-led pub in Cheddar Somerset a venue that has proudly held 2 AA Rosettes for multiple consecutive years.
Part of a respected independent hospitality group this site is joined by a sister venue in North Somerset that has also maintained 2 AA Rosettes over several years reflecting the groups consistent dedication to culinary excellence.
Youll be based primarily in Cheddar but will also have the opportunity to support and learn across the wider group including:
A buzzing caf & bakery
A newly launched wine cheese & charcuterie bar
Another award-winning pub with rooms
A soon-to-launch in-house cookery school and training academy
Working under a supportive and experienced Executive Chef this is a rare chance to be part of a close-knit talented brigade producing award-winning seasonal food in a progressive and people-focused business.
A strong Chef de Partie or Junior Sous Chef looking to step up
Experience working with fresh seasonal ingredients at a high standard
Confident running sections and supporting junior chefs

Flexibility to occasionally support sister sites when needed
34000 salary
