Job Description

ACH Operations Analyst Safeguard and streamline electronic payments for a growing community bank

Our client is a century old relationship driven financial institution serving customers across the Southeast through multiple branches and robust digital channels.

What You ll Do

  • Serve as the bank s ACH subject matter expert and stay current on NACHA rules and Treasury Green Book guidelines.

  • Monitor daily ACH files resolve exception items and process returns NOCs stop payments disputes and reclamations.

  • Maintain NACHA Risk Management Portal data for RDFI activities and perform ongoing risk assessments.

  • Reconcile operating trust payroll and draw down accounts; keep unapplied cash trust balances and unbilled WIP up to date.

  • Detect and mitigate potential fraud or cyber threats tied to ACH transactions.

  • Assist with core system and product testing procedure updates audits and regulatory examinations.

  • Provide exceptional service to internal teams and customers cross train on other Bank Services tasks and protect confidential information.

  • Complete mandatory compliance training and follow BSA/AML CIP OFAC and related regulations.

  • Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.

What You Bring

Must Have

  • Accredited ACH Professional (AAP) certification.

  • Five or more years of hands on ACH processing and compliance experience.

  • Deep knowledge of NACHA Reg E BSA/AML USA PATRIOT Act and related regulations.

  • Solid grasp of accounting balancing principles and bank operations.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and core/ancillary banking systems.

  • Ability to work independently resolve escalated issues and travel occasionally for training.

Preferred

  • Bachelor s degree in accounting finance or a related field.

  • Familiarity with Fiserv core products.

  • Experience with Q2 Centrix modules such as Positive Pay and Dispute Tracking.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

  • Professional office setting with standard office equipment (computers phones copiers).

  • Frequent communication keyboard use and vision demands (close distance and focus adjustment).

  • Occasional movement around the office and ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
