Tasks

- Youre often a few steps ahead when planning. You naturally envision different scenarios and recognize patterns easily.
- Having an overview comes naturally to you. You like to understand complex systems and can prioritize and make decisions quickly. You trust your instincts. You stand by your decisions but are always open to reflecting and learning from them.
- A deal is a deal. You are taking mental ownership of what you commit to and appreciate when others do the same.
- Youre driven by clear goals. You enjoy being efficient achieving results and dislike feeling unproductive.
- You often think: Its going to be all right. You make big tasks feel manageable and thrive in a fun positive environment.
Your responsibilities will be:
- Power trading in a shift rotation
- Collaborate with team members on market analysis and/or tool development
- Ensure that you continuously build your understanding of the energy market
Requirements
What we expect from you:
- You have at least two years left in your studies - ideally Oecon Math Physics BA(HA) or a similar field
- Bonus points if you:
- Have or are still competing in sports at a high level
- Have or are still playing poker seriously
- Have explored sports betting and maybe youve tried to model it
- You enjoy being part of a small ambitious team aiming to be the best
- You enjoy working independently and taking initiative

About EIO Energy and team culture:
EIO Energy is an energy trading company based in Aarhus. We have a quantitative approach to trading and all decisions are made based on that. EIO is working on establishing a fund where both private and institutional investors get an opportunity to gain access to returns from European energy markets.
We are looking for student power traders who have a strong analytical mindset can easily understand data and numbers and get energized when making decisions. Additionally someone who is comfortable with doing analysis work and deep dive into data to find answers.
