Overview
The Orthopedic Surgeon plays a crucial role in our healthcare facility located in Churu Rajasthan. This position involves diagnosing treating and managing a wide range of orthopedic conditions affecting the musculoskeletal system. As a specialist in this field the orthopedic surgeon is vital for improving patients quality of life through surgical and non-surgical interventions. The surgeon will work closely with a multidisciplinary team ensuring the delivery of comprehensive care to the patients. This role is essential in providing surgical expertise for fractures joint replacements and other orthopedic procedures enhancing patient outcomes. Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient evaluations and diagnostics.
- Develop individualized treatment plans for orthopedic conditions.
- Conduct surgical procedures including joint replacements and fracture repairs.
- Manage preoperative and postoperative patient care.
- Utilize imaging techniques to guide diagnostics.
- Collaborate with nursing staff and physician assistants for patient management.
- Educate patients and families about treatment options and recovery processes.
- Provide emergency orthopedic care when required.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
- Stay updated with advancements in orthopedic techniques and technologies.
- Involve in continuous professional development and training programs.
- Participate in the evaluation of surgical outcomes and quality improvements.
- Engage in community outreach and health fairs to promote orthopedic health.
- Supervise and mentor medical students and resident physicians.
- Conduct research related to orthopedic practices and innovations.
Required Qualifications
- Medical Degree (MBBS) from a recognized institution.
- Postgraduate degree in Orthopedic Surgery (DNB/MS).
- State medical license to practice in Rajasthan.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of orthopedic surgical experience.
- Certification in Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Strong knowledge of orthopedic pathology and treatment protocols.
- Excellent manual dexterity and physical stamina.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Commitment to patient-centered care.
- Proven leadership abilities in a clinical environment.
- Willingness to participate in ongoing education and training.
- Skills in using electronic medical record systems.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and best practices in surgery.
- Proficiency in both English and Hindi.
