Overview
The SAP FICO Consultant plays a crucial role in ensuring that the financial and controlling modules of SAP are implemented and maintained efficiently within the organization. This position is essential for supporting financial operations ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and providing continuous improvements to existing financial processes. The consultant will act as a bridge between the technical teams and business stakeholders adeptly addressing organizational needs and aligning SAP solutions to improve overall financial reporting and analysis.
As a key player in financial systems management the SAP FICO Consultant is responsible for configuring and customizing the SAP FICO modules to suit the specific business requirements of the company. This role requires a deep understanding of financial procedures strong analytical skills and the ability to collaborate across departments to leverage SAP functionality effectively. Success in this position can lead to significant efficiency improvements in financial data processing and reporting providing stakeholders with timely and accurate insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement configure and support SAP FICO modules (Finance & Controlling) to meet business needs.
- Manage end-to-end SAP FICO implementations and post-go-live support.
- Provide expertise in ECC (ERP Central Component) and AMS (Application Management Services).
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into SAP FICO solutions.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with other SAP modules (MM SD PP etc..
- Conduct system testing UAT and training sessions for end-users.
- Troubleshoot and resolve SAP FICO issues ensuring system stability and performance.
- Stay updated with the latest SAP enhancements upgrades and best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
6 years of hands-on experience in SAP FICO (Finance & Controlling).
Strong expertise in ECC (ERP Central Component) and AMS (Application Management Services).
In-depth knowledge of FI (Financial Accounting) and CO (Controlling) modules including GL AR AP Asset Accounting Cost Center Accounting Profit Center Accounting and Product Costing.
Experience in SAP implementation configuration and support.
Proficiency in integration with other SAP modules (MM SD PP etc..
Strong problem-solving analytical and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance migration.
- Exposure to FICO customization and enhancements.
- Knowledge of ABAP debugging for issue resolution.
