We are seeking a dynamic motivated and experienced Leisure Centre Supervisor to join our Clients team and help deliver exceptional service with energy and vigor from our newly renovated facilities while supporting overall day-to-day operations. Currently undergoing extensive refurbishment our leisure facilities will be even better than before offering the right candidate valuable opportunities for career growth and development.
Role Summary
As the Leisure Centre Supervisor you will support the Leisure Centre Manager in overseeing the smooth and efficient operation of our leisure facilities. You ll help lead the team maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and safety and deliver outstanding customer service to hotel guests and local members.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in managing all daily operations of the leisure centre including the pool gym and wellness areas
- Supervise and lead a team of leisure attendants swimming instructors and lifeguards
- Ensure all health & safety and hygiene regulations are adhered to
- Assist with staff rotas training and performance management
- Support with membership sales and customer queries
- Monitor maintenance needs and liaise with relevant departments
- Ensure a welcoming and professional environment for all members and guests
Key Requirements
- Previous supervisory experience in a leisure fitness or hospitality environment
- Relevant fitness or leisure management qualification (e.g. ITEC REPS RLSS) desirable
- Valid Pool Lifeguard qualification swim instructor qualification and First Aid certification
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- A strong customer-focused attitude and a passion for health and wellness
