Job Opening: Steel Erector / Ironworker
Pay:$18$25/hour (Based on Experience)
Project Duration:Approximately 3 weeks (potential for 4 weeks)
Start Date:Wednesday June 4
Location:Tinker Air Force Base (must be eligible for base access)
Note:Must be ready forbase access processing by June 3
Position Overview
We are seeking experiencedSteel Erectors/Ironworkersfor a fast-paced short-term project atTinker AFB. This role involves working at heights of3050 feetand operating scissor lifts while maintaining strict safety standards. This is an excellent opportunity for highly reliable professionals to join a safety-first crew on a high-visibility project.

Must be able to pass astrict background checkno exceptions
ValidReal IDdrivers licensecurrent vehicle tags andinsurancerequired
Must becomfortable working at heights
Prior experience operatingscissor lifts
100 reliability required must be available June 3for security clearance processing
Job Responsibilities
Safely lift position and connect steel beams columns girders joists and other structural components using cranes and hoisting equipment
Guide structural steel into place with tag lines tools and precise coordination
Bolt or weld steel components securely at various elevations
Perform initial fit-up to ensure proper alignment level and plumb
Install structural decking purlins and girts
Erect and dismantle scaffolding temporary structures and work platforms as needed
Operate hand and power tools (e.g. wrenches impact guns grinders torches welding tools)
Rig and hoist steel elements using slings cables and chains
Communicate clearly with crane operators riggers and supervisors
Follow all OSHA and company safety standards including fall protection PPE use and lockout/tagout procedures
Inspect work for accuracy structural integrity and compliance with specifications
Attend daily safety briefings and contribute to a strong safety culture
Maintain a clean organized and hazard-free worksite
