Job Description
Were recruiting for an Assistant Accountant to join us. Were offering a competitive base salary. Are you looking to grow your finance career in a dynamic and supportive environment Were seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join our Finance team. What youll be doing:
- Supporting mortgage origination and servicing processes across all products
- Managing the transfer of loans to the Funding Team and ensuring compliance with criteria
- Handling loan cashflows including redemptions optional payments income and fees
- Performing daily and monthly reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy
- Reviewing and improving processes and controls in a changing environment
- Assisting with internal and external reporting to meet deadlines
- Supporting purchase ledger and cash management activities
- Contributing to audit preparation and compliance with statutory requirements
Qualifications :
Who were looking for:
- Working towards a recognised finance qualification (ACCA ACA AAT CIMA or equivalent)
- Understanding of financial concepts and accounting principles
- Experience in the financial services industry (preferred but not essential)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Willingness to support wider business projects and initiatives
