Marketing Communications Manager

Media Relations

• Lead corporate media strategy for business growth and political impact in Korea
• Ensure consistency of corporate messaging; recommend adjustments as needed for country and culture
• Coordinate day to day activities and overall strategy with local PR firm in partnership with internal stakeholders
• Prioritize the importance of incoming media inquiries and anticipate/develop additional story angles beyond the reactive
• Provide media counsel to internal spokespeople and support spokesperson identification development and training as needed
• Coordinate development and ongoing updating of press materials
• Develop understanding of and contribute to engagement strategy for third party organizations relevant to public affairs goals such as surgical societies business organizations   
• Build relationship with closely related media and create new opportunities and right touch points and contribute to business growth
• Crisis management
• PR agency management

Brand & Creative

• Develop and execute local brand communication strategies to ensure consistency in messaging across all materials and channels.
• Enhance the organizations branding knowledge through training sessions handbook development template localization and creative asset management.
• Execute patient awareness programs through enhancing Intuitive brand value to patients within the guidelines of Korea Medical Associations regulations and compliance

Digital Marketing

• Plan execute and refine digital marketing campaigns including Intuitive Korea website social media.

Others

• Budget Management & Performance Analysis
• Manage all assigned budgets and track effectiveness of marketing initiatives ensuring efficient allocation of resources and adherence to financial guidelines.
• Lead annual planning of MarCom GOST and LRM through preparation timeline development and information consolidation.

Qualifications :

• 7 years MarCom and Media Relations experience in multi-national companies
• Superior writing and editing skills on all tasks including press releases media plans and pitches messaging talking points speeches and policy communications
• Excellent communication skills both in Korean and English
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills; ability to work with and manage cross-functional teams to reach common project goals
• Competent in and comfortable with production and desktop publishing ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines and with minimal supervision
• Patient campaign experience in the healthcare industry preferred
