Job Description
Do you have a heart to serve and love being part of a team As a Steward/Dishwasher you will assist in the execution of memorable Food & Beverage experiences for our guests.
What you will be doing:
- Responsible for the cleanliness and sanitization of all surfaces
- Responsible for maintaining a high level of cleanliness throughout the kitchen
- Responsible for garbage compost and recycling stations and disposing of these items accordingly
- Operate and maintain cleaning equipment including the dishwashing machines and sinks
- Wash dishware glassware cutlery cooking equipment/vessels etc.
- Ensure proper storage of all dishware and cutlery when not in use
- Maintain proper storage and use of associated chemicals
- Assist with setup of function requests such as plate orders etc.
- Follow all policies procedures and service standards including health & safety procedures
Qualifications :
Your experience and skills include:
- Previous hotel and/or restaurant work experience an asset
- Must be able to stand during scheduled shift withstand repetitive walking reaching and bending for long periods of time as well as safely lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability be capable of working effectively both unsupervised and within a team environment
- Passionate about maintaining a clean and safe working environment with excellent organizational skills
- Understanding of food safety and hygiene
- Ability to work a variety of shifts including evenings weekends and holidays
