Job Description

Job Title: Chief Nursing Officer (CNO)

Location: Seymour TX

Shift: 8-Hour Days

Schedule: Monday - Friday

Duration: Full-time (13 weeks minimum commitment)

Work Location: On-site

Relocation: Required prior to start date

Annual Salary: $125607 - $149190 (dependent on experience and qualifications)

Position Overview

The Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) is a key executive leadership position responsible for the oversight direction and coordination of all nursing services. This role ensures the delivery of high-quality compassionate and patient-centered care in alignment with healthcare best practices and regulatory standards.

As a strategic leader the CNO will work closely with other executive team members to develop and implement clinical strategies drive quality improvement initiatives and support professional growth and development among nursing staff.

This role is vital in supporting operations across a range of care settings including emergency services labor and delivery skilled nursing and surgical services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead manage and support the nursing department across all service lines
  • Develop implement and enforce nursing policies and procedures aligned with regulatory and accreditation standards
  • Oversee nursing staff recruitment onboarding training and performance management
  • Foster interdisciplinary collaboration to improve clinical communication and care coordination
  • Monitor clinical performance metrics and champion continuous quality improvement efforts
  • Manage department budgets and ensure cost-effective delivery of care
  • Promote patient advocacy and uphold patient rights
  • Create and maintain a culture of excellence in clinical care and nursing professionalism

Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree in Nursing required; Masters Degree in Nursing or Healthcare Administration preferred
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
  • Extensive leadership experience in nursing administration
  • Strong understanding of clinical operations medical records management and healthcare regulations
  • Exceptional leadership organizational and communication skills
  • Proven ability to lead diverse teams and drive strategic change
