Location: Houston TX
Salary: $80000-$85000

Our client is a family-owned and operated demolition and abatement contractor based in Humble TX with over 20 years of experience. They have built a reputation for excellence in structural and interior demolition asbestos lead and mold abatement and handling a wide range of commercial and residential projects across Houston and beyond. This is not a corporate environment no glass ceilings just long-standing employees a collaborative team and real opportunity to lead.
Our client is looking for a Senior Estimator / Project Manager with strong demolition or abatement experience who can increase estimating volume manage projects lead crews and help bring in and maintain client relationships. This role is perfect for someone who takes initiative has a book of business or knows how to develop one and is looking to grow into a leadership position in a stable and growing company.
Scope of Work & Clients
- Projects range from thousands to million dollars Includes strip centers mid-rises gut-outs (e.g. Marriott Downtown) big-box demo (e.g. Kmart) and more
- Clients include general contractors developers residential homeowners and bid invites from GCs
- Competitors include Grant Mackey Arcosa Precision youll be expected to operate at this level
Key Responsibilities
- Perform takeoffs and create accurate estimates for demolition and abatement projects
- Conduct job site visits to assess scope and challenges
- Manage awarded projects from kickoff through completion
- Maintain and grow relationships with GCs and developers
- Identify and secure new opportunities (public or private sector)
- Help lead and build out the estimating/project management function
- Bring strategic thinking to improve win rate and reduce overbidding
- Participate in occasional hands-on or odd-job tasks as needed
Ideal Candidate Profile
- 5 years of experience in demolition abatement or construction estimating/project management
- Experience handling both estimating and project execution
- Entrepreneurial mindset motivated to find and close new business
- Comfortable managing crews and juggling multiple priorities
- Brings existing client relationships or has the drive to develop them
- Strong communicator who is easy to work with not abrasive
- Seeks long-term career growth and leadership potential
