Job Description
This is a great opportunity to step into a Direct Tax Manager role in a fast-paced high-value environment. Youll use your expertise in UK corporation tax and strong background in compliance and reporting to make a real impact on business performance. In this role youll be a key player in Aston Martins financial operations. Youll be responsible for preparing and filing UK corporation tax returns supporting with interim tax reporting requirementsand act as a go-to contact for direct tax issues across the business.
Each week will bring something different depending on whats happening in the business but a good portion of your time will be focused on compliance and reporting. With plenty of cross-functional work across teams youll need to be just as strong in communication as you are technically as youll be explaining complex tax matters clearly and confidently to different parts of the business.
To succeed in this role youll need solid experience in tax and a strong knowledge of UK tax compliance. Whether your background is in consultancy automotive or manufacturing what matters most is that youve been hands-on with direct tax.

A strong understanding of IFRS and UK GAAP tax accounting are essential and youll need to hold a relevant chartered qualification. Experience with using OneSource corporate tax software would be beneficial.
