The Sandra and Leon Levine Jewish Community Center is a non-profit social service agency founded upon Jewish ethics and values. The Center provides and initiates diversified social educational recreational and cultural programs within a Jewish setting. The JCC is a partner in serving the community is affiliated with the JCC Association of North America and a beneficiary agency of the Jewish Federation of Greater Charlotte.
The Tai Chi Instructor SUB will lead and motivate participants in a group setting through this ancient Chinese martial art that has evolved into a gentle low-impact form of exercise often described as meditation in motion. Tai Chi involves a series of deliberate flowing movements practiced while focusing on deep slow breaths aiming to balance the bodys Qi (vital energy).
- Must be able to teach on Thursdays from 11:40am 12:40pm.
- Tai Chi Certification.
- Current CPR Certification.
- One-year experience teaching Tai Chi in a group setting.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to respond to emails and texts in a timely manner (within 24 hours).
