Job Description

Acuity is seeking a Human Resources Operations Specialist to contribute to the efficient and effective operation of HR functions. This role will focus on assisting with HR processes maintaining data accuracy and providing support to employees and managers. Additional responsibilities will partner with Learning & Development Employee Success Talent Acquisition Benefits and Executive Assistant team as needed.

This role is hybrid and will be expected to work onsite at our Sheboygan headquarters approximately 2 days per week. Please note that onsite requirements may evolve over time based on team needs or business priorities.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • HR Systems Administration:
    • Assist in the management and maintenance of HR Information Systems (HRIS) and other HR technology platforms ensuring data integrity and accuracy.

    • Assist with troubleshooting system issues and help with system testing.

    • Assist with generating HR data reports as requested.

    • Administer changes and updates to Acuitys Learning Management System as needed.

    • Help submit and support open cases and service requests.

    • Contribute to compliance efforts with Acuitys IT Security and Data Governance teams.

  • Talent Acquisition and Onboarding Support
    • Help lead orientation and onboarding processes and events in coordination with Senior HR Operations Specialist and Talent Acquisition team.

    • Process I-9 forms background checks reference checks and other required documentation for onboarding.

    • Facilitate Talent Acquisition-related assessments (e.g. typing tests) and documentation.

    • Coordinate logistics and scheduling for interviews and talent-related events as needed.

  • HR Operations and Administration Support:
    • Conduct HR processes across all areas including onboarding offboarding employee changes and information updates and employee records management.

    • At the guidance of management and/or Senior HR Operations Specialist contribute to and document team procedures and updates.

    • Assist with coordination of HR aspects of enterprise-wide business continuity efforts.

  • Employee Support:
    • Provide first-line support (HR Inbox) to employees on HR-related inquiries escalating to subject matter experts as needed.

    • Manage reimbursement processes for various Acuity perks.

    • Administer Acuitys credit card program.

  • Compliance:
    • Assist with compliance with all applicable federal state and local employment laws and regulations.

    • Help conduct regular HR-related audits and review of completion of Internal Audit controls.

  • Other:
    • Partner with Executive Assistant team as needed.

    • Adhere to company policies and practices and comply with all state and federal regulations in all aspects of human resources management.

    • Assist in the preparation and maintenance of activity reports.

    • Maintain professional approach with confidentiality. Assure protection and privacy of health information as attained through written electronic or oral disclosures.

    • Periodic review of and suggested enhancements for continued procedural efficiencies.

    • Regular and predictable attendance.

    • Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION:

Bachelors degree preferred.

EXPERIENCE:

Entry-level professional experience; internships considered.
