Job Description:
We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic entry-level data scientist to join our team. As a data-driven corporation we use data to inform our business decisions. The ideal applicant will be enthusiastic about data analysis and willing to gain new skills while working on impactful initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Gather clean and analyze data from a variety of sources to generate insights.
- Assist with the creation of machine learning models and algorithms.
- Use data visualizations and reports to effectively communicate findings.
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure data-driven decision-making.
- Take part in research projects and contribute to the development of data approaches.
- Continue to learn about new data science tools and methodologies.
Requirements:
- A bachelors degree in data science computer science mathematics statistics or another relevant discipline.
- Proficient in programming languages such as Python and R.
- Experience with data manipulation libraries (e.g. Pandas NumPy) and data visualization software (e.g. Matplotlib Seaborn).
- A fundamental understanding of machine learning ideas and algorithms.
- Demonstrates strong analytical and problem-solving abilities as well as meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent communication abilities including the ability to explain complicated data ideas to non-technical audiences.
- Be willing to adapt and learn in a fast-paced atmosphere.
