About the opportunity:

Aquatic Cashiers serve as the first point of contact for pool visitors offering courteous and informative customer service. In addition to their reception duties they are responsible for providing clerical and cashier support to the Aquatics Division. This includes processing cash and deposits preparing correspondence and documents and maintaining records.


About your background:

The ideal candidate will possess a Grade 12 diploma and have at least two years of relevant experience including cash processing and payment handling. Additionally a strong understanding of office systems and procedures as well as basic accounting principles is essential. A typing speed of 40 words per minute is required. The candidate should enjoy the challenges of multitasking to complete various clerical tasks and demonstrate excellent communication skills. They should also thrive in a team environment. As a condition of employment Aquatic Cashiers must be able to obtain and maintain a clear Police Information Check for any offenses related to the position. Aquatic Cashiers will work a variety of shifts including early mornings days evenings and weekends. We are particularly looking for candidates who are available between 5:30 AM and 10:00 PM from Monday to Sunday and who can work call-in shifts on short notice. Most shifts will occur in the evenings and on weekends.
