Job Description
If you are an experienced Customer Service Representative (CSR) looking for an opportunity to grow Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you! Manufacturer of large custom-designed control valves you will work in a dynamic and high-tech production facility based in our Marshalltown Iowa location.
AS A CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE (CSR) YOU WILL:
- Provides manufacturing lead time quotes when requested.
- Develops manufacturing milestone execution plans for critical orders.
- Manages Built Not Shipped and Date Management for assigned Impact Partners.
- Coordinates all the factory actions related to the given orders.
- Supports Production Planning Value Streams & QA as needed.
- Monitors order progress and execution to meet any commitment given to the customer.
- When necessary expedites the different functions at the appropriate level.
- Provides regular and timely progress updates to Impact Partners and highlights any deviation compared to the original plan.
- Prepares the inspections and shipping schedules ensuring the order is shipped on time according to the Customer request.
- Schedules prepares for and implements the order related customer inspections.
- Handles video inspections (livestream and pre-recorded) as ordered.
- Manages the customer or representative during visits and inspections at factory site.
- Assistwith factory tours.
WHO YOU ARE:

REQUIRED EDUCATION EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
- 2-year degree required or High School Diploma/GEDwith 2 years manufacturing experience
- Must be fluent in English
- Legal Authorization to work in the United States - sponsorship will not be provided for this role
PREFERRED EDUCATION EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
- Manufacturing experience preferred
- Possess good assertive communication skills and interpersonal skills to interfaces with people at all levels.
- Extremely detailed oriented and organized.
- Able to work independently but involve others when needed.
- Ability to handle a high level of stress.
- Good decision making and problem solving skills.
- Demonstrate dynamic work style in a continuously complex and changing environment.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
