Wereexcited to recruit for this role at Golding and appoint aBuilding Safety Lead.
What youll be doing
Youll manage Golding Homes approach to fulfilling the requirements of the named bills plus wider health and safety legislation relating to building safety and keeping Golding Homes customers safe in their homes. Youll manage Golding Homes response to the Building Safety Act and Fire Safety Regulations and act as the Building Safety Manager.
Youll prepare produce and implement key actions to ensure Golding Homes comply with all relevant legislation and develop control methods to ensure key decision gateways are implemented throughout the life of buildings within Golding Homes housing stock on building safety and fire safety matters. Youll beresponsible for developing Building Safety Cases for our housing stock and make evidence available for customers.
More about you. What can you bring
Were looking for someone with aNEBOSH Construction Certificate and Diploma (or equivalent). Ideally youll be a Chartered Member of IOSH. A Building Safety Management qualification is desirable.
Youll have experience of driving Building Safety standards and performance across operations as well ashands-on relevant industry experience and knowledge of the construction industry or repairs & maintenance.
Youllhave a demonstrable track record of creating and implementing innovative Building Safety strategies which have significantly enhanced business. Youllhave a pragmatic and proactive approach to building safety with the ability to build strong relationships to influence and engage at all levels of the business to ultimately deliver a strong safety culture.
When and where youll be doing it
You will enjoy a 37-hour working week and earn an annual salary of 58477 per annum dependent upon your knowledge skills and experience.
