Summary

The Bell Consumer team is seeking a Specialist Subscriber Forecasting to support forecasting and reporting for our residential wireline services. Reporting to the Senior Manager Subscriber Forecasting this role will focus on analyzing subscriber trends developing forecasting models and providing key insights to drive business decisions. This is an excellent opportunity for an analytical thinker with a passion for data forecasting and market analysis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development of short-term and long-term subscriber forecasts for residential wireline services.
  • Maintain and refine forecasting models to improve accuracy and reflect evolving business strategies.
  • Analyze subscriber performance trends including activations churn and engagement metrics.
  • Conduct variance analysis and provide insights on key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Support the preparation of forecasting reports and presentations for senior leadership.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in marketing finance and strategy to align on key business drivers.
  • Conduct competitive analysis and industry benchmarking to support business planning.
  • Utilize business intelligence tools and large datasets to generate actionable insights.

Critical Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in business accounting finance economics marketing or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in financial analysis forecasting or market analysis.
  • Strong analytical skills possibly with experience handling large datasets and building forecasting models.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to transform data into meaningful insights.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to present findings clearly.
  • Detail-oriented with strong time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • In the course of their duties this person will be required to interact with French & English speaking stakeholders across Canada

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the telecommunications industry is an asset.
  • Some knowledge of SQL or business intelligence tools (MicroStrategy Tableau Power BI).
