Job Description

Job Description: Ensure products meet quality and efficiency standards set by the company. Ensure manufacturing production lines run smoothly and generate a consistently quality output.
Responsibilities:
*Review every customer PO for quality requirements.
*Establish quality procedures standards and specifications for the company.
*Set and enforce standards for quality and safety during work operations.
*Carry out research to identify ways to reduce failures and maximize resources.
*Ensuring legal obligations are followed and ensuring compliance with regulatory bodies and safety guidelines.
*This position functions as the site ESHQ representative ESH reporting incident investigations communicating ESH topics to colleagues maintaining a First Aid training certification as a member of the Site-Emergency Management Team and in support of ESHQ goals.
*Implements process improvement with the use of Statistical Process Control (SPC) measurement analysis.
*Ensures CoQ (Costs of Quality) metrics are aligned with the companys strategic initiatives including scrap rework returns appraisal and prevention.
*Responsible for RMA/Repairs Department including issuing RMAs and maintaining RMA data base.
*Establishes programs to improve metrics using continuous improvement tools as well as actively participates in projects that support Lean Manufacturing initiatives resulting in improved profitability workflow and team performance. Proactively works to improve quality systems internally and externally to the plant.
*Utilizes and can teach Lean tools including 5S Kaizen quick changeover value stream mapping mistake proofing etc. Participates in Kaizen events as necessary.
*Interacts with production floor daily. Assists where needed to ensure there is adequate support from the Quality department to meet production efficiencies and goals.
*Participate in product development processes and conduct quality reviews.
*Review and maintain supplier quality including new vendor approvals.
*Ensure that manufacturing engineering operations and design engineering interact sufficiently throughout the product planning and design phases to ensure a seamless hand-off during product transition to production.

*Complete first article inspections.
*Manage in source inspections.
*Conduct final quality control inspections prior to shipments when necessary.
*Manage customer quality issues.
*Manage customer facility audits.
*Maintain training records.
*Manages internal and AS9100 audits.
*Complete monthly metrics report.
*Review all ECNs and quarantine and disposition of parts with multiple revisions.
*Initiate implement and maintain all requirements needed to maintain ISO 9001:2015 standard.
*Prepare annual Management Review meeting.
*Maintain Quality Control procedures QF Forms and WIs.
*Maintain approved supplier list AS9100 Certs and supplier surveys up to date.


Requirements/Qualifications:
*Bachelors degree and certification as a Quality Manufacturing Electrical or Mechanical Engineer.
*Full understanding and working Knowledge in Root Cause Failure Analysis tools and processes.
*4 - 7 years previous experience in manufacturing or production of electronics electromechanical products; with previous experience in a Senior Quality Control position preferably in a manufacturing environment.
*Knowledge of Defense/Aerospace documentation.
* Ability to do dimensioning and be able to read and interpret engineering drawings parts lists and specifications.
*Strong attention to detail observation organizational and leadership skills.
*In-depth knowledge of quality control procedures and legal standards.
*Strong knowledge of mathematics data analysis and statistical methods.
*Excellent communication and listening skills.
*ERP knowledge ERP implementation knowledge preferred.

Salary Range: $90000 - $140000
