Job Summary
A logistics warehouse located in Arlington TX is currently seeking a warehouse lead for their 1st shift. This is a temp to perm opportunity to join a dynamic team.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Willing to take direction from Operations Manager and ability to work well with others
- Train and supervise warehouse staff including new hires
- Manage and coordinate the daily operations including shipping and receiving inventory management order fulfillment and returns processing
- Manage warehouse staff and ensure their tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner
- Monitor warehouse equipment and supplies and order new items when needed
- Ensure the warehouse is clean and organized and that safety protocols are followed
- Proper PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) must be worn at all times.
- Must follow HACCP GMP and Safety guidelines (training will be provided).
- Work in a team environment.
- Unload and load trailers ensuring proper stacking and segregation of freight.
- Retrieve and prepare products for shipment ensuring accuracy in quantity and type.
- Verify products originate from correct locations and that lot numbers match picking documents.
- Perform picking tasks efficiently to meet customer service standards.
- Load unload move stack and stage product and materials using a forklift
- Bend and lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
- Requirements
- Must be Bilingual (English & Spanish).
- Must have experience leading a team.
- Must have strong knowledge of warehouse operations.
Starting Hourly Pay $18.00 DOE
Days: Monday - Friday 6AM - 2:30 PM
