You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailThis position will assist the Formulation Systems Team in designing and implementing robotics systems for Sherwin-Williams R&D.
Job duties include contact with other employees and access to confidential and proprietary information and/or other items of value and such access may be supervised or unsupervised. Additional Responsibilities include:
BASIC QUALIFICATION:
Must be legally authorized to work in the country for which you are applying for employment (without now or in the future needing sponsorship for employment work visa and/or permanent residence status).
Must be at least 18 years of age
FORMAL EDUCATION:
Required:
Bachelors Degree in a Science Technology Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) field
Preferred:
Bachelors in Robotics Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:
Required:
3 years or greater related education or work experience in designing and/or implementing laboratory robotics/automation
Excellent organization planning and project management skills
Preferred:
5 years or greater related education or work experience in designing and/or implementing laboratory robotics/automation
Experience with robotic configuration and programming
TECHNICAL/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
Required:
Logic based programming experience
Windows operating system experience
MS Office
Preferred:
Denso programming experience
Beckhoff PLC programming experience
AutoCAD experience
SQL programming experience
Six Sigma Green Belt training
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: 10%
Upon completion of construction the individual selected for this role will primarily work at the new Sherwin-Williams Global Technology Center in Brecksville Ohio. Construction is expected to be complete in 2025. Until then the role will be based atBreen Technology Center located at 601 Canal Road Cleveland OH 44113.
