Employment Type:Full Time 38 hours per week

As a Senior Educator at Goodstart youll take charge of your own room leading a team of dedicated Educators to deliver exceptional educational programs. Youll collaborate with the Centre Leadership Team and the Educational Leader to observe inform and continuously improve our teaching practices. Your commitment to safety and inclusivity ensures that every learning experience is tailored to meet the needs of all children.
About Goodstart Cairns:
Our intimate 73-place centre proudly features a diverse array of cultural languages including Chinese Japanese Spanish Filipino Punjabi Pidgin and Sinhalese. Our dedicated staff with service durations ranging from 3 to 22 years provide long-term stability and commitment. Conveniently situated near the city our centre is within walking distance of local shops and has a bus stop right in front. Each room has its own yard ensuring that children receive age-appropriate activities and learning experiences.

Youll need:
- Diploma in Early Childhood (or ACECQA approved equivalent)
- Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards
- Current Queensland Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
