Role:Senior Educator
Location: Maryborough QLD 4650 Butchulla Country
Centre: Goodstart Maryborough
Employment Type:Full Time 38 hours per week

As a Senior Educator at Goodstart youll take charge of your own room leading a team of dedicated Educators to deliver exceptional educational programs. Youll collaborate with the Centre Leadership Team and the Educational Leader to observe inform and continuously improve our teaching practices. Your commitment to safety and inclusivity ensures that every learning experience is tailored to meet the needs of all children.
About Goodstart Maryborough:
We are a 107 place dual-centre facility catering to children from 6 weeks to 5 years old. We pride ourselves on creating a home away from home environment where everyone feels warm comfortable and supported. Our commitment to inclusive and diverse practices is at the core of everything we do. Our spacious open play areas allow mixed age groups to interact fostering relationships sharing and caring for one another. Siblings have the opportunity to mingle and play together each morning and afternoon during family grouping times which helps each child develop a sense of being belonging and becoming.
Our facility is located in Maryborough a charming coastal town with a relaxed country atmosphere. Maryborough is rich in history with many stories to tell and is known as the home of Mary Poppins. This heritage is celebrated annually in the streets with the Mary Poppins Festival every July.

Youll need:
- Diploma in Early Childhood (or ACECQA approved equivalent)
- Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards
- Current Queensland Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
