Job Description
The Juniper Cupertino hotel is looking for aDishwasherto join the Stewarding Team
TheJuniperHotel inCupertino California about 11 miles west of downtown San Jose brings a modern boutique atmosphere to Silicon Valley. Thehotel is less than 20 minutes from Levis Stadium and San Jose Airport and close to Saratogas great wineries. Santana Row shops are five miles away.
- Classification: Part Time
- Shift: Sundays and Mondays weekends and holidays are required. Additional shifts if business levels are high.
A Dishwasher is responsible for transporting and cleaning cooking utensils and serviceware in the hotels continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability.
What will I be doing
As a Dishwasher you would be responsible for transporting and cleaning cooking utensils and serviceware in the hotels continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
- Wash dishes and operate the dishwasher to clean all chinaware silverware and cooking utensils
- Scrub pots and pans
- Burnish de-tarnish and polish silver
- Stock and maintain supplies and equipment
- Perform cleaning duties including but not limited to mopping and removing trash
- Transport and store clean serviceware
- Prepare and place clean serviceware for events and functions
Hourly Rate is $22.13 per hour
