Job Title: Associate Database Administrator
Education: MCA/B.E/ Graduation
Experience: 3years
Location: Bangalore Hyderabad Mumbai
Key Skills: PostgreSQL Open Source and EDB PostgreSQL PostgreSQL on any Cloud Technology Pgbadger PgAdmin BARMAN pgbackrest repmgr and pgrepack.
Job Description:
- 3 years of relevant experience
- Must have strong analytical verbal and written communication skills.
- Good knowledge of PostgreSQL Database Architecture.
- Must have experience in PostgreSQL database installation and configuration shell scripting PL/ SQL programming catalog navigation query tuning system tuning analysis backup and recovery standby replication etc.
- Experience in Applying database patches from lower version to higher version.
- Major and Minor upgrade of PostgreSQL DBs on multiple platforms (pgdump/pgrestore & pgupgrade).
- Fundamental working knowledge on AWS Cloud and Azure Cloud.
- PostgreSQL deployment and implementation support (24*7*365).
- Good Knowledge on pgbadger report analysis.
- Decent hands-on experience in HA Configuration.
- Must have substantial working knowledge of Linux/Unix & Windows.
- Strong understanding of command line and server administration.
- Knowledge of shell scripting (e.g. Bash Perl).
