Job Description
TITLE: Xpedition ECAD Layout Designer (US Citizenship REQUIRED)
RATE RANGE: $50/hr- $63/hr W2 (no health benefits while on contract)
CLEARANCE: No clearance required

GeoLogics has an immediate opening for a Senior Advanced Electrical Computer-aided Design (ECAD) Designer to join our team. The position provides an opportunity to develop the cutting-edge technology that supports some of our nations fundamental defense services. You will work closely with esteemed clients to develop solutions that allow them to carry out high-stakes national security missions. The selected candidate will work with collaborative teams to design develop and manage CAD software solutions for our client. The Senior Electrical Computer-aided Design Engineer will possess a thorough understanding of the design and documentation requirements for Printed Circuit boards. In addition the qualified candidate must be experienced in generating printed board designs for digital signal processing hi-frequency radio frequency designs and understand routing principles relating to hi-speed routing and interference design.
REQUIREMENTS
Experience Xpedition VX2.13 or higher
Multi-layer experience up to 20 layers
Knowledge of PCB design and fabrication details
Experienceworking in an Integrated Product Team environment
Extensive experience in design drafting detailing and packaging of PCB board layout designs that include but are not limited to symbol cell and footprint generation PCB layout PCB electronic packaging PCB drawing generation
Experience troubleshoot design data and configuration problems with outside vendors
Ability to multi-task and handle numerous jobs simultaneously.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Deliver innovative flexible integrated solutions to meet changing business needs in PCB design.
- Support and engage in programs projects and practices behind our clients culture and strategy and comply with all policies and procedures.
- Follow industry and department trends and developments to ensure our clients services are consistent with and/or superior to industry best practices.
- Candidates should demonstrate sophisticated problem solving skills as well as an ability to design develop and implement innovative solutions.
REQUIRED EDUCATION
Bachelors degree in a related specialized area or field or equivalent is required plus a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience; or Masters degree plus a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.
