The Associate Data Analyst Data Strategy and Business Insights supports the Global Real Estate Facilities & S3 departments in their data strategy implementation. The Data Analyst is responsible for gathering and analyzing data to form business insights to increase efficiency manage spend and strengthen business processes. The Data Analyst performs data-related duties including reporting visualizations data integrity checks and clean-up.
Partner with stakeholders to understand their business needs and deliver targeted analyses that inform strategic decisions. Conduct interviews with department heads to assess data utilization and specific reporting needs. Manage data and reporting requests tracking their status from intake to deployment.
Design and develop dashboards and conduct ad hoc analyses to identify trends and provide real-time insights to senior management and stakeholders. Gather cleanse analyze and visualize data to uncover meaningful insights that drive business decisions.
Assist in the development and implementation of a comprehensive data strategy across departments within the Global Real Estate Facilities and S3 organization.
Create and maintain thorough documentation for new and existing functions processes and workflows.
Ensure data quality by performing data cleanup and validation across multiple data sources.
Collaborate with project managers business analysts developers and testers to define test and deploy functionalities for existing and new systems.
Support dashboard maintenance including tool refreshes and troubleshooting data issues.
Required Qualifications/Experience
Bachelors degree in a relevant field (e.g. Business Economics Statistics Computer Science Business Analytics Information Management Data Science)
Proficiency in analyzing and reporting large data sets
Proficiency in SQL Tableau Python Alteryx Power BI R/Shiny Advanced Excel
Ability to synthesize information and tell data stories effectively communicating complex information clearly and concisely
Skills in creating impactful presentations and deliverables
Advanced knowledge and hands-on experience using business intelligence and visualization tools
Strong organizational and analytical skills
Attention to detail and accuracy
Knowledge of data warehousing concepts ETL processes and data governance principles and practices
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
Exceptional ability to communicate the value of data to users
Experience working on cross-functional team projects
Aptitude for learning new programs and applications
Self-starter with a flexible collaborative attitude
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of databases relationships primary keys and data quality
Agile Methodology Expertise
Ability to rapidly iterate from Scope to Proof of Concept to Production including in-house training documentation and implementation
Understanding of Facilities and Real Estate-Related Data
Experience and understanding of facilities and real estate-related data
Strong Planning Documentation and Presentation Skills
Strong attention to detail sense of urgency and commitment to deadlines
