Director Strategic Account Management

TheDigital Products & Solutions (DP&S)business unit at IQVIA is a function-led organization encompassing Strategy Product Management Product Engineering Delivery and Commercialization. Our portfolio spans Clinical Patient Safety Regulatory and Commercial technology and services.

DP&S Delivery engagements range from single-country single-solution projects to complex multi-country integrated solutions. Our team of project and service management professionals ensures the successful development deployment and support of these technologies and services.

AsDirector Strategic Account Management within theClinical Trial Payments (CTP)Delivery team you will play a critical leadership role in shaping the success of our enterprise client relationships. This role combines strategic vision financial oversight and cross-functional collaboration to drive revenue growth enhance client satisfaction and improve operational excellence.

You will lead a team of Strategic Account Managers (SAMs) and oversee the Project Finance Team ensuring alignment with client goals and IQVIAs broader business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with key stakeholders in CTP enterprise accounts.
  • Lead regular governance meetings to review KPIs address escalations and ensure strategic alignment.
  • Inspire and guide a high-performing team of SAMs to act as trusted advisors and foster authentic client relationships.
  • Develop and execute a forward-looking enterprise account management strategy.
  • Promote a culture of innovation and agility within the Strategic Accounts team.
  • Drive revenue growth through cross-selling upselling and expanding CTPs footprint in existing accounts.
  • Oversee project financials including profitability staff utilization and timely change order creation.
  • Collaborate with the Commercialization team to shape go-to-market messaging and support Sales enablement.


Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelors degree in IT Accounting Finance Business or a related field.
  • 710 years of relevant experience in strategic account management or delivery leadership.
  • Proven leadership experience managing cross-functional teams and driving business results.
  • Strong executive-level client relationship management skills.
  • Deep understanding of project financials profitability and resource utilization.
  • Familiarity with LEAN principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to align account strategies with organizational goals.
  • Strong analytical problem-solving and business process assessment skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and related tools.
  • Ability to independently prioritize and manage multiple initiatives.
