Job Description
- Maintain a clean safe and well-organized environment throughout all common areas of our campus.
- Cleans and sanitizes all restrooms/bathrooms using established practices and procedures.
- Cleans food bowls and water bowls.
- Scraps the litter boxes in the designated area by the laundry room then cleans the litter boxes.
- Maintains and organizes the dish room.
- Maintains and organizes the laundry room.
- Cleans and organizes the Education Room.
- Cleans and organizes all break rooms including cleaning of the refrigerators every payday.
- Follows instructions regarding the use of cleaning chemicals and supplies. Use as directed.
- Works safely and recognizes unsafe situations. Take appropriate action to ensure his/her safety and that of others both in buildings and on the grounds.
- Stocks and maintains the inventory of janitorial supplies.
- Responsible for completing tasks listed on the attached SOP sheet.
- Performs other duties as required and assigned.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 1-2 years experience preferred.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
- Dependable and able to work independently.
- Positive communication skills to interact with staff and volunteers.
- Must like animals
