Job Description
Position: TGT Mathematics
Locations:
- Podar International School ShirurBaramati
- Job Type: Full-Time
- Reporting To: Academic Coordinator / Principal
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach Mathematics to Grades VIX as per CBSE/ICSE curriculum.
- Develop and deliver engaging concept-based lesson plans and assessments.
- Use various teaching methods technology and activities to make math interactive.
- Regularly evaluate and monitor student performance through tests and assignments.
- Prepare students for internal exams Olympiads and board assessments.
- Maintain classroom discipline attendance records and academic reports.
- Collaborate with peers for cross-subject projects and school-wide initiatives.
- Attend staff meetings training programs and parent-teacher interactions.
- Foster an environment that supports inquiry creativity and logical reasoning.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors / Masters degree in Mathematics or related field.
- . (Mandatory for TGT level)
- Minimum 24 years of teaching experience in middle or secondary school.
- Good command of spoken and written English.
- Comfortable with digital teaching tools / smart boards.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong subject knowledge in Algebra Geometry Arithmetic and Statistics.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- Ability to make abstract math concepts clear and practical.
- Passion for teaching and inspiring a love for mathematics in students.
- Organized punctual and committed to school responsibilities.
Preferred Traits:
- Experience in CBSE or ICSE curriculum.
- Exposure to math enrichment programs (Olympiad NTSE etc.).
- Willingness to take part in co-curricular and academic development activities.
