Job Description
Marketing Specialist
Hours: Monday - Friday 8a - 4p (flex)
Pay: $18.00
Tell OPTIONS story through print and production social media and grants. This includes but is not limited to
vocational/business programs and fundraising.

Marketing/Public Relations:
1. Ensure all marketing materials are consistent with OPTIONS mission and branding.
2. Create recruitment marketing materials and marketing for employment campaigns with input from HR
Director CEO and Community Outreach Director.
3. Maintain monthly communication with CRF and ensure OPTIONS website is current and up to date.
4. Design and create all marketing materials for OPTIONS events functions and announcements.
5. Ensure the OPTIONS Website Facebook Pages and other social media are maintained with current
accurate information.
6. Plan create and design Community Newsletters with input from Development Director Community Outreach
Director and CEO.
7. Plan and execute all Marketing Campaigns for Vocational businesses and OPTIONS functions (including
flyers invitations mail-outs) with input from Community Outreach Director and CEO
8. Participate in activities related to strategic planning for marketing.
9. Ensure all emailing lists are up-to-date on Constant Contact.
10. Prepare all news releases with approval of Community Outreach Director and CEO and submit news releases each month to all area papers.
11. Serve as photographer and/or videographer for all OPTIONS events functions and fundraisers.
12. Assists with creating proofing and designing layouts for grants and special proposals.
13. Facilitates the use of Social Media and other electronic communication as fundraising and donor
communication tools.
14. Maintain and track all sponsorship marketing promises for donors.
15. Perform other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to handle multiple tasks and manage priorities.
Excellent computer skills including Word Excel Publisher Adobe Photoshop and Social Media
Ability to learn and manage fund-raising database software.
Public Speaking
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Strong interpersonal skills people skills.
Excellent organizational skills.
Ability to be flexible.
Comfortable with people with disabilities.
Comfortable with assisting in raising money.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
At least two years of proven work experience in marketing or Bachelors degree in marketing or
communications field
Motor Vehicle Record check (Good driving record)
Vehicle liability insurance if driving personal vehicle
