Job Description

Note: This position allows a hybrid work schedule with partial remote work and in-office presence at the Orange County CA office.
Note: You must have at least 3 years of experience in insurance defense or personal injury defense litigation and be licensed to practice law in California. If you do not meet this requirement please do not schedule a call as it will be canceled.

Job Description

Our client is seeking an experienced Associate Attorney to join their Insurance Defense/Personal Injury Defense team. This role involves independently managing a caseload and working alongside senior litigators on high-exposure matters involving:
  • Auto and trucking accidents
  • Premises liability claims
  • Construction site incidents
  • General negligence matters
Responsibilities include:
  • Handling cases from inception to resolution
  • Drafting pleadings motions and discovery responses
  • Conducting and defending depositions
  • Attending court appearances mediations and settlement conferences
  • Engaging directly with clients insurance carriers and opposing counsel

Qualifications

  • J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school
  • Active California Bar license (in good standing)
  • 310 years of litigation experience with a focus on insurance or personal injury defense
  • Strong legal writing research and oral advocacy skills
  • Ability to handle cases with autonomy and contribute to a collaborative team environment
