About the Role
Were looking for a Financial Analyst to oversee and optimise the financial operations of our eCommerce business. Youll play a critical role in managing financial reporting analysis and budgeting ensuring accuracy efficiency and compliance with accounting standards. This role requires strong technical accounting skills attention to detail and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced data-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate unit costs for each SKU ensuring correct COGS across the business (data integrity & entry).
- Oversee SKU data integrity including inventory invoices pricing and margins.
- Monitor key financial KPIs providing insights and identifying areas for improvement.
- Support internal and external audits ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
- Assist with Accounts Payable (AP) 3-way matching and Accounts Receivable (AR).
- Contribute to ad-hoc financial projects that drive business growth.
Qualifications:
- eCommerce or retail background with experience managing SKUs.
- Work experience in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) with a strong understanding of the 3-way matching principle.
- Familiarity with Shopify or other eCommerce platforms.
- Proficiency in Xero accounting software.
What Were Looking For:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance Economics or related field (CPA/CA preferred).
- 5 years of experience in financial accounting or analysis.
- Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and data analysis.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Strong attention to detail accuracy and ability to meet deadlines.
- Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced high-performance environment.
- High level of integrity and professionalism.
