Job Description

Location: South Africa
Work model: Remote (can be based anywhere in South Africa). Need to be able to legally work in SA to be considered.
Salary: R55 000 R75 000 CTC

About our client..
Our client is a mission-driven NGO tackling youth unemployment by training young South Africans in high-value digital and tech careers. Their human-centred Agile 12-month programmes cover Data Science Engineering Web Development and UX/UI Design. They re looking for a systems-thinking process-building ops lead to help drive learner success at scale.


What the job involves..

  • Designing and managing end-to-end operations across the learner journey from recruitment to placement

  • Leading recruitment funnel strategy and operations ensuring a steady quality learner pipeline

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of learner outcomes with partner needs

  • Ensuring strong learner communications and data management practices

  • Translating data into insights to drive decisions across the journey

  • Supporting team leads in capacity planning project and performance monitoring

  • Championing process discipline and continuous improvement across systems and tools

  • Contributing to costing budgeting and feasibility planning for partner-led projects


What you need to be considered..

  • Proven senior experience in programme project or operations leadership preferably within an NGO edtech or social impact context

  • Deep understanding of learner/customer/beneficiary-centred operations

  • Strong data funnel management and reporting skills

  • Experience with CRMs learner management systems and data analytics tools

  • Track record of building inclusive scalable systems

  • Outstanding communicator and stakeholder collaborator

  • Empathy-driven leader with low ego and high attention to detail

  • Demonstrated ability to lead process adoption and change across teams
  • Passionate about education equity and social impact

Bonus points if you..

  • Have worked in workforce development or skills acceleration settings

  • Come from a background in monitoring evaluation and learning (MEL)

  • Have led teams through systems or process change

  • Have experience balancing learner outcomes with partner expectations
