Job Description
Job Title: Material Handler
Pay: $17/hr (Based on Experience)
Hours: Monday Friday 6:00 AM 4:30 PM (Some Saturdays required)
Job Type: Temp-to-Hire
Location: Sapulpa OK
Position Overview
We are seeking a Material Handler to support operations in a busy fabrication environment. This is a safety-sensitive position requiring work around overhead cranes forklifts automated machinery trucks and power equipment. The ideal candidate will have experience with shop tools follow safety protocols and maintain high levels of productivity and quality.
Job Responsibilities
- Load and unload materials and merchandise from trucks
- Securely pack materials before loading
- Locate raw materials and finished products in the facility
- Follow work orders and verbal instructions for material movement
- Operate forklifts hoists and other industrial trucks
- Ensure safe and efficient movement of materials throughout the facility
- Maintain productivity levels that meet company requirements
- Ensure workmanship meets quality standards
- Comply with all safety policies and procedures
- Maintain cleanliness and organization per 5S standards
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Must be able to work professionally as part of a team and contribute to project efficiency
- Must pass a forklift training class
- Ability to read and write basic shop communications
- Proficient in using a shop tape measure
- Basic fabrication shop experience preferred
