Job Description
Berman Subaru of Chicago is looking for an experienced Service Advisor to add to the team!
Location: Chicago IL (60641)
Job Title: Service Advisor
Schedule: Full Time; Monday-Saturday
Pay: Earn $100000 a year! (Commission position)

Job Responsibilities
- Greet customers promptly and courteously upon arrival at the service drive
- Obtain customer and vehicle information
- Listen attentively to customers concerns and accurately document their vehicle service needs
- Determine and recommend necessary maintenance based on age mileage and history of the vehicle.
- Prepare a complete and accurate estimate of cost for labor and parts.
- Keep customers informed of the status of their vehicle repairs and address any questions or concerns they may have
- Comfortably and clearly explain all completed work and charges to the customer
- Coordinate service appointments and ensure timely completion of service orders
- Collaborate closely with service technicians parts department and other dealership personnel to ensure efficient workflow and customer satisfaction
Qualifications :
- At least 1 year of Service Advisor experience within a dealership
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with customers
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Detail-oriented with the ability to accurately document service requests and recommendations
- Proficient computer skills and familiarity with automotive service software systems
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of automotive systems and repair procedures is a plus
- Clean driving record and valid drivers license (3 yr min)
- Must be willing to submit a background screening
