Job Description
Set the stage with incredible entertainment for a legendary venue! As Talent Buyer for the Genesee Theatre youll arrange a diverse lineup of live acts for the historic 2400 seat theater. From superstar music artists to comedians and live theater shape an unforgettable experience!
Position Responsibilities
- Secure high-quality entertainment from chart-topping artists to standout comedians and unique touring acts.
- Negotiate offers contracts and fees with agents managers and tour reps.
- Maintain strong relationships with promoters talent agencies and industry insiders.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align marketing box office and production efforts for each show.
- Keep your finger on the pulse track industry trends scout emerging talent and fill the calendar with exciting strategic bookings.
- Represent the theater at shows and events building rapport with artists and their teams.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree.
- Proven experience as a booking manager securing talent in a live entertainment setting.
- A skilled negotiator with excellent communication and industry know-how.
- A solid network of contacts in music comedy and entertainment is preferred.
