Job Description
As a General Labourer youll play an integral role in keeping our operations running smoothly. Youll get hands-on experience working with metal materials all while learning about the importance of sustainability and environmental responsibility.
What youre responsible for:
- Sorting and segregating different types of ferrous and non ferrous materials
- Operating machinery and equipment used in the recycling process
- Inspecting loading and unloading of customer vehicles and trucks
- Performing depollution of vehicles including removing oils gas coolant etc
- Conducting basic maintenance and cleaning of equipment and work areas
- Following safety protocols and ensuring a safe working environment
Qualifications :
To join our team:
- You are a current student or have recently finished school
- You are 18 years of age or older
- You are comfortable working in a loud dusty heavy industrial environment
- You are comfortable performing repetitive lifting up to 50lbs
- You have the ability to work in a physically demanding environment
- You have a willingness to learn and perform various tasks
