Job Description
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree from an accredited educational institution.
- Valid and current teaching certificate for the State of Michigan.
Preferred Skills:
- Skilled at designing learning environments that promote a students ability to achieve at their highest potential.
- Experience using data to develop lesson plans and instructional groups.
- Familiarity with The Essential Instructional Practices in Early Literacy.
- Familiarity with Orton Gillingham Approach to Literacy.
- Effective communication with students staff parents and community. Outstanding computer skills professional appearance and regular attendance at school sponsored events and activities.
- Keen awareness of responsibilities for confidentiality and professionalism.
- Familiarity with PBIS.
- Performing all other duties as assigned by the Building Principal.
Terms of Employment:
- Full-time salary and health care benefits provided. Negotiable based on experience education and certification; per CEA Contract.
