Ventias Western Power contract has just secured the next 12 months package of work and were on the lookout for 3 more experienced Switching Operators to join our team! Were also raising our rates AGAIN making us the highest paying contract in town PLUS we have another rate increase in October which makes this the perfect time to come on board! - $71.40ph Overtime & weekend penalties
- $4.00 per hour site allowance
- Regional and Metropolitan work - LAFHA for regional work up to $341.90 per day
- 10/4 RosterAnother rate escalation coming in October 2025
This critical role will see you responsible for planning and deliveringHV and LV switching programs on the Western Power Network.

About you
- Authorised to perform HV LV and Transmission switching on the Western Power Network
- Demonstrated field experience performing low & high voltage switching operations
- Hold a current drivers licence
- Safety focused and strong adherence to policies and procedures

The scope of work will include the delivery of maintenance services across Western Powers transmission distribution network and the maintenance of large complex assets whilst servicing customers in city centres regional and remote communities.
