Copeland is seeking a highly motivated Procurement Professional to join our dynamic and forward-thinking Business Unit Procurement team. Based in Lebanon Missouri the Associate Supplier Execution Leader will play a critical role in supporting supplier execution activities in alignment with plant operational requirements. This position will collaborate closely with teams across Operations Supply Chain and Supplier Quality to ensure seamless supplier performance and execution.

Reporting directly to Procurement Leadership the individual in this role will work in close partnership with Copelands Enterprise and Business Group Supply Chain teams to ensure effective alignment and implementation of category strategies.

AS A SUPPLIER EXECUTION LEADER YOU WILL:

  • Review and assess supplier capacity to identify and address potential shortages affecting plant operations.

  • Provide daily execution support to ensure continuity of supply for plant requirements.

  • Lead and coordinate sustaining procurement initiatives including cost-reduction projects and supply chain optimization efforts.

  • Schedule and facilitate cross-functional meetings to drive project progress and maintain stakeholder alignment.

  • Monitor key project milestones identifying and mitigating risks to ensure achievement of timeline and cost objectives.

  • Deliver timely and accurate reporting on project and program status to procurement and cross-functional leadership.

  • Support the implementation of procurement strategies and promote best practices in commodity management.

Required Education Experience and Skills:

  • Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Engineering Business Economics or a related discipline; equivalent experience may be considered.

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in tactical sourcing procurement or a related field.

  • Comprehensive understanding of the purchase order lifecycle cost/price analysis and logistics processes.

  • Demonstrated ability to proactively identify and resolve operational challenges.

  • Strong communication organizational and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

  • Proven experience working with cross-functional teams in a dynamic and fast-paced setting.

  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 10% as required.

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; sponsorship is not available for this position.

Preferred Education Experience and Skills:

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to cultivate professional working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Experience with tracking systems and maintaining comprehensive project documentation.

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel ERP systems Word Access and PowerPoint.
