Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Part-Time Manager of Transmission and Interconnection to support battery energy storage system (BESS) development across multiple U.S. markets. This part-time role is ideal for a seasoned professional with a deep understanding of interconnection processes and transmission planning in CAISO PJM SRP MISO TVA and other key regions.
The ideal candidate has a strong background from a utility or engineering firm and is skilled at navigating interconnection studies queue strategy and grid integration. Experience collaborating with renewable energy developers is a strong plus.

Qualifications
  • Extensive experience with BESS interconnection across multiple markets especially CAISO PJM SRP MISO and TVA.
  • Background working at a utility or engineering firm.
  • Proven ability to interpret interconnection studies and provide strategic recommendations.
  • Familiar with transmission planning congestion analysis and queue management.
  • Experience working with developers or on developer-led projects is a plus.
Compensation
  • Pay: $100 - $140/hr
  • Flexible remote work schedule.
  • Opportunity to shape energy storage deployment across diverse U.S. grids.
