AlphaBEST: Summer Camp is where adventure begins!
Summer Camp - Part-time Group Leader Norman OK
At AlphaBEST our campers are filled with curiosity and wonder! As their guide youll lead them through fun learning activities with plenty of support and training.
Pay Rate: $15.00 an hour
Location: Elementary schools within Norman Public Schools
Camp operating hours are: 6:30 AM-6:00 PM.
We offer two shifts. After being paid to have fun creating lifetime memories with amazing campers; you have time left in your day outside of work to let the adventure continue with our flexible schedules.
Our two schedules are 6:30- 12:30pm and 12pm to 6pm; This is a SUB position as needed.
(No weekends)

As an AlphaBEST Guide youll be trained and have the chance to do the following:
- Plan and facilitate core programming to advance the physical social emotional and intellectual development of children.
- Work collaboratively with peers to share program-related information and complete adventurous tasks that ignite a childs sense of wonder.
- Encourage creativity and intellectual curiosity by building on the students interests and talents.
- Provide a caring family-oriented environment where positive staff child and parent relationships are fostered.
Heres what youll need:
- Must have the verifiable education and/or experience that is required for childcare licensing by the state of Oklahoma.
- Must have a high school diploma or GED.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet program staffing needs.
- Must be able to successfully complete a background check as required by state childcare licensing regulations.
- Proof of experience as required by state childcare licensing regulations.
