Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focusedTechnical Service Representativeto support ourCommercial Lines Insurancedivision. This role is responsible for providing technical and administrative support to underwriters agents and clients ensuring efficient processing of policies endorsements renewals and other service-related tasks. The ideal candidate has experience in commercial lines insurance strong analytical skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist underwriters and agents with the preparation review and processing of insurance policies endorsements renewals and cancellations.
- Review and verify policy documentation for accuracy and completeness.
- Maintain accurate records of policy transactions and correspondence in company systems.
- Respond to inquiries from agents brokers and insured clients regarding policy coverage billing and endorsements.
- Provide technical support and guidance to internal and external stakeholders regarding policy and underwriting requirements.
- Assist in the review and analysis of policy submissions to ensure adherence to company guidelines and regulatory compliance.
- Coordinate with various departments including underwriting claims and accounting to facilitate smooth policy servicing.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to enhancing efficiency within the department.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum of 1-2yearsof experience in commercial lines insurance preferably in a service or underwriting support role.
- Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products coverages and industry regulations.
- Proficiency in insurance management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Customer service mindset with the ability to effectively handle inquiries and resolve issues.
Education & Certifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Post Secondary and asset
- Insurance certifications RIBO
