Position Overview

We are seeking a PLC Programming Technician with a strong electrical background and a roll-up-your-sleeves attitude. This is not a desk-only job-youll be working with electrical panels wiring and control systems and traveling to customer sites for installations and upgrades. If youre a self-starter who enjoys variety and thrives in a dynamic environment we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

Program troubleshoot and maintain Allen-Bradley Control Logix 5000 and/or Siemens TIA Portal PLC systems.
Design and implement FactoryTalk Studio HMI interfaces.
Work hands-on with motor control systems medium and low voltage electrical systems and control panels.
Collaborate with engineering and field teams to support system integration and commissioning.
Travel to customer sites (approx. 50% travel primarily in the Midwest) for system installations upgrades and support.

Details:

Qualifications

Strong experience with Allen-Bradley 5000 and/or Siemens TIA Portal PLCs.
Proficiency with FactoryTalk Studio HMI development and SCADA systems.
Solid understanding of electrical wiring panel building and motor control systems.
Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% of the time across the U.S.
Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive hands-on mindset.

Salary DOE - $100K
