Position Overview
We are seeking a PLC Programming Technician with a strong electrical background and a roll-up-your-sleeves attitude. This is not a desk-only job-youll be working with electrical panels wiring and control systems and traveling to customer sites for installations and upgrades. If youre a self-starter who enjoys variety and thrives in a dynamic environment we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
  • Program troubleshoot and maintain Allen-Bradley Control Logix 5000 and/or Siemens TIA Portal PLC systems.
  • Design and implement FactoryTalk Studio HMI interfaces.
  • Work hands-on with motor control systems medium and low voltage electrical systems and control panels.
  • Collaborate with engineering and field teams to support system integration and commissioning.
  • Travel to customer sites (approx. 50% travel primarily in the Midwest) for system installations upgrades and support.


Details:

Qualifications
  • Strong experience with Allen-Bradley 5000 and/or Siemens TIA Portal PLCs.
  • Proficiency with FactoryTalk Studio HMI development and SCADA systems.
  • Solid understanding of electrical wiring panel building and motor control systems.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% of the time across the U.S.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive hands-on mindset.

Salary DOE - $100K
