Team Lead Scheduling
Huntsman is seeking a Team Lead Scheduling supporting the Performance Products Division located in Conroe Texas. This position will report to the Sr. Operations Manager.
Job Scope
This position will be responsible for overseeing the reporting scheduling and planning of daily raw materials intermediates and finished products at Conroe.
In summary as the Team Lead Scheduling you will:
Scheduling Monitoring and Reporting
- Track and report production/packaging vs plan on a monthly basis.
- Track and report product/unit rates and product yields on a monthly basis.
- Track and report on-time production/consumption posting on a monthly basis.
Problem Resolution and Troubleshooting
- Act as the teams primary escalation point for resolving any scheduling issues.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to assist with product/unit prioritization.
- As needed provide the business with different production scenarios that satisfy business targets.
Continuous Improvement and Optimization
- Drive and implement improvements across the scheduling process to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Oversee management of production BOMs unit/material rates and production versions in SAP. Coordinate with operations and scheduling team to update products as needed based on actual production data.
Team Leadership and Development
- Lead a team of production schedulers/analysts setting goals and performance targets that are aligned with the business strategy. Monitor and evaluate individual and team performance against KPIs.
- Provide coaching and support to team members for professional development.
- Be able to perform the responsibilities for any team member as needed.
Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
The candidate must have an unrestricted right to work for Huntsman in the United States.
Minimum Qualifications
- 510 years of relevant work experience in logistics raw material production planning and scheduling required.
- Proficiency in SAP required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science degree preferred.
- Experience with continuous improvement methodologies (e.g. Lean Six Sigma Kaizen) is a plus.
- Green Belt or equivalent certification is a plus.
